Never used one of these before, but it worked great!
Had a rounded-off 19mm nut, clamped the splitter down with Vicegrips, spun it in with an impact, cut right thru the nut easily. The nut didn’t fall off, had to back it off slowly, again with Vicegrips, but it’s off! Also, if you need the bolt to remain undamaged don’t screw the chisel in too far, or it will damage it (see photo). Works easier if you can split both sides of the nut.
Also, before using it unscrew the chisel from the chrome part and lubricate it’s threads with a little grease or just WD40. Also do NOT overly tighten the set screw! It should be in enough to keep the chisel screw from turning but it should not be tight! I think that’s why a lot of people are having trouble with it.

Had to use this tool for the first time on a Locking flange nut holding a steering pinon gear in place. I had to use it on two sides of the nut, along with a Dremel tool to cut the flange. I still had to block the sector gear to get this nut off. This steering gear assembly was installed an a cub cadet 1054, 54" cut lawn tractor. I state it here because all the videos on line don't address this issue. If you have one of these type lawn tractors, you are going to have this same type of problem.
