There is NO rubber foot included in the kit!!!! In the description, there is actually a liner that says “base material” “rubber”….NO WHERE does it say you need to buy an extra tip!!!! I went ahead and ordered a set of four because I need to use it right away….It should have an end with it…..

   The walking stick feels like quality material the tools seem to be lacking in quality but would get you by in an emergency situation. It is a little heavy but unscrews and fits into a pouch that’s easy to carry. Overall I like it and will be using it on my hikes. You can take out sections depending on your height. I’m 6’3 and it is plenty tall enough with all the sections I could even take one out and still use it.

   There are some things that don't work very well. The staff is heavy. When a person is hiking, they tend to go for lighter equipment. A wood walking stick or an aluminum trekking pole would work better, there. On the other hand, all of the tools that come with the staff would alleviate the necessity to carry those items separately EXCEPT that the tools included with the staff do not seem to be very high on the durability index. I am not concerned about that because I bought the staff for the staff...not for a knife or a saw or a fire starter or a folding airplane or a miniature death star. I am satisfied with the basic product. And having the accessories for however long they last is a nice little bonus.

One section had improperly cut threads (unusable) but I didn't need it cause I'm 5'8". Overall I'm glad I have it. Very adjustable and good value
