The cans hook on to the lift, and the only reason I knocked its durability is the lids and handles on the cans seem like they could snap off easily, thus the choking hazard. I have not actually tried breaking them, so they may be more durable than they appear. The buttons on top provide lots of noise, lights, and entertainment; the lift on the back end creates lots of activity, and the friction controlled movement is lots of fun too. Highly recommend this toy. I feel like it's the best money I've spent on a toy.
