Regardless of rain or night driving, you can easily see the license plates around you. It does provide you an extra layer of safety when driving on the road. The best thing about this dash came is its size and suction bracket. The camera does not obstruct your vision and the suction bracket is super. Other brackets from other dash cam brands such as YI send you a one time use heavy duty stick on cup and extends the camera down further. The one that comes with this one is perfect and compact. Love the way it looks in the car. I still don’t know how to set everything but that is common with most dash cams, you learn as you go. One other thing, my cigarette lighter does not shut down when I turn the ignition off, therefore it is on all the time. So far it has no affect on my car battery as it draws such a small amount of power.

The dash cam has better quality that I expected, especially at night. The video I took was at dawn and the image was still clear. The only downside is it wouldn’t record when the car is parked. I've used previous camera in the past but the ugly protruding features leave it off putting. The camera is small enough to as to not appear intrusive alongside the rear view mirror. It also came with a mount to give a better clear view of the camera so if you don't drive a small car it still fits well onto most mid cars. Though small, the camera gives a very wide feature of the camera. Luckily the footage I reviewed weren't of accidents, though the picture quality was surprisingly impressive even during night times. The camera uses an SD card which has its conveniences.

Got this camera to keep surveillance on day to day drives with my vehicles and wanted to try this one out on on vehicle first before getting them for all. The camera resolution is good enough to identify objects, but unless you're within 15 feet license plate numbers can be difficult to read. Overall functionality is simple and easy to understand. Once setup, the camera turns on and off by itself and automatically starts recording. Not expecting a 4k resolution camera out of this, but to be used for mitigation documentation this little guy does great. Will likely get more for my other vehicles. Only thing is that I'd like to have a higher resolution option.

I am happy with the product I bought. I am happy with the product I bought. I needed a camera that would record while I drive, be small, and on a budget. I think this camera was the ideal product I could get. Since I received this camera, I feel safer while driving, I now know that if something happens to me while driving, it will get recorded. I am also very happy about the size, I find it annoying to have GPS/cameras on my dashboard, this camera is just small enough that it does not bother me while driving. I also found it very easy to set up. I just got it out of the box, added a 32GB SD card to it, connect it to my car for power supply and it was recording as soon as I started driving. After using it, I connected it to my computer to see the image quality and test now easy/hard was going to be to see the video footage if needed. I found the video quality to be good, I could clearly see everything that happened on the road.
