   It’ll take a couple tries! Would not recommend putting soil/sand/pebbles in it because if you mess up trying to balance it, it gets sucked down to the base pretty fast and will make a huge mess!
   Fake plants are perfect for this. Mine has be going steady for about 2 months now after much trial and error

   This levitating air plant pot is larger than I was expecting it to be, so bonus. The power supply cable is long enough you should be able to place the pot most anywhere you want. The magnet is Very strong which means you will likely have to try placing the pot in just the right spot a few times before it levitates instead of being pulled down to side of base. With that in mind you need to take kids and pets into consideration when deciding where to place this. An "exploring" child or a strong swipe of a cats tail would be enough to push the pot off center and cause it to be pulled to the base. All in all I am very pleased with the pot as it's really cool looking and a conversation piece. It is a bit on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion.

   Well made and decent quality. The set up is simple but it may be a little tricky if you have not used one of these levitating stands or lamps before. After plugging in the base, you have to center the pot right in the middle of the base 2-3 inches above it. Once at the center, you can feel resistance or a force that seems to push the pot up, and you can let go to see if the pot levitates. It is a lot of trial and error, but once you get used to it, it’s not too difficult. My only issue with this is that the pot is very small, it can only fit very small plants. I most likely will not be growing plants in this pot, so I will have to find another use for it. As of now, I am keeping the base plugged in just to let the pot rotate and it looks pretty good like that too.

   These are for small plants or add fake plants. It takes a bit to get it to float. All you do is use both hands. Cup around it and when you feel the pull(I can't think of another word for it) you will know the difference between it wanting to go down versus it floating. My boyfriend couldn't get it but I did within a few minutes.

   I got this for use with my venus fly trap, get it? Flying fly trap! It is easy to use, just plus it in and center it correctly. You have to fiddle with it at first to make sure it is in the right spot. You can make it spin and it looks pretty cool. Just be sure to remove the plant before unplugging or it will crash down and dirt goes everywhere!
