   Love this filter. The media in mine had stopped rotating so i emailed them and their support team helped me fix it. To do this you need to clean the L shaped connector and the airstone. Put half a cup of water in the microwave for 1 min to heat up then put one tablespoon of baking soda and 3 tablespoons of vinegar until it starts fizzing up and then drop the airstone in there and leave it in there for 4 to 6 hours until you rinse them under hot water and put it all back together (:

It isn't the air pump, and the inlet doesn't seem clogged. I did dial my air back so maybe it became watter logged. 2 days at full and it still hasn't cleared, sadly.

   Actually, I like this product’s design. I wish it came in different sizes. Have it running in an overstocked 29 gallon tank paired with only a HOB filter. It’s hooked up to a small air pump. My weekly Tank maintenance consists of 30% water changes. My Red Jewel Cichlids (from a spawning) are healthy, active, display vibrant coloration and have hearty appetites. No issues with ammonia or nitrite.

   After 1 week, the media is tumbling around nicely. It's actually very satisfying to watch for a few seconds while you feed the fish. I added a few biopellets, and they tumble around inside just as well and my nitrates now rise slower. I can't comment on capacity, this is only serving a few fry in a 10g grow out tank.

   Another good thing to leave a note on is that it is shrimp and other small aquatic animal friendly, you can have a dozen ghost shrimp next to the intake and they all will be able to rest easily sitting cm s from the intake. Good stuff!

   Pretty sure someone else would like this thing, does not include air pump. Which I was aware of, and I already had a air pump anyways so it all worked out just fine

   I would give this a 4 star review for 1 specific reason, but I don't want shy people away from it. It fixed my ammonia problem after trying everything and now stays at 0. It really boosted the tank cycle to a safe level for my frogs! The reason I would give it a 4 star is the foam filter it comes with slows the flow down so much it feels useless. I took it out and added used filter media in its place. That did the trick and now it flows great.

   I keep 4 of these on my Goldie tank, one with the original filter media they come with, and the other three contain bioballs, porous stone, etc, that came from a now retired external canister filter I used to run on this tank before. These Qanvee filters work great. You can put many different filter media inside, as the canister is large enough. Five stars.
