It knocks back the hairs to almost perfectly smooth, so I can see that this is going to lengthen the life of my actual razor blades quite a bit. Great for knees, backs of knees, ankles and hard to reach spots. You do have to go a little slow so that it has a chance to grab the hairs, but well worth the money.
