   This has by far exceeded our expectations at this price point. We are no professional flyers - we simply wanted a remote control helicopter to entertain us & the kids. It's been stuck in a tree, fallen from the roof, and ran into the ceiling countless times. It's very durable. The only con to this is the battery life - it's not good for entertaining more than 20 minutes.

   My 7 yr. old grandson could work the remote control on this helicopter and it wasn’t too complicated. Just right for beginners (who also have experience using remote control for gaming). It is durable and didn’t fall apart if it crashed. When battery was low (it flies for about 5 minutes but this was just fine for my grandson) the helicopter would gently descend to the ground.

   The new altitude hold system is pretty nice vs the old spring loaded throttle on the old transmitter the new transmitter also looks very clean , it flies very well and is easy to take off and land. The only thing I noticed is that when it lands it can take a while for the blades to spinning because of the computerized throttle control.

   We have an almost 4.5 year old who is obsessed with all flying things. He has 2 hand controlled drones and a hand controlled helicopter. Well, the helicopter turned out to be junk that fell apart the second day. So i started looking for something more durable, fun and challenging. I figured, his dad would fly it for him for a while untill he is old enough to do it himself. Well, the helicopter came, his dad figured out controls and started showing our little boy how to fly it. It took 5-6 flying lessons when both of them controlled it, and now our toddler can fly it all by himself. It hasn't even crashed into anything yet. Great
