Ez Chamfer – Woodworking 45 Degree Edge Auto Chamfering Tool

EZChamfer is a woodwork corner auto-chamfering tool used for knocking down sharp corners and creating a chamfer or radiused profile. It makes quick work of edge relief without changing bits in your router or plugging in anything.

With adjustable cutting depth, you can adjust according to the working requirements. Then, simply slide it through the edge for an instant beveled edge. Take a few more passes to create more dramatic profiles and smoothness.

You have absolute control over the appearance of the cut (unlike softening an edge with a block plane). Each pass you take enlarges the bevel or radius an equal amount on both the face and edge

I've been doing a bit of home improvement and needed to install wood trim and like the neat look of countersunk nail and screw holes. Indeed, this set worked perfectly, producing a nice smooth bowl like space for a screw or nail head. The main advantage over using a plain drill bit is the cutting area of countersink bit is shallow so it's almost impossible to drill too deep. My only wee complaint is I wish there was a smaller bit or two for small finishing nails. For my light duty use these bit work great but I suspect if you use them day in and day out you'd want an industrial strength set.
