This pen marries that fond memory and my love of wood. It is a wonderful pen and very easy to fill, unlike my grandmothers that had a lever that you had to pump! I find myself holding back using the pen because I keep hearing her tell me not to ruin the point but that’s my history. It’s an exquisite pen and writes beautifully.

I'm very happy with this pen. The worst I can say about it is I've need to blow water through it with a syringe, once. It writes beautifully and is very comfortable to hold. The presentation box it came in is beautiful as well. The pen itself is very lovely. I don't leave the cap on it when I write as for me it would seem unbalanced, but I don't have very big hands. For the money I spent I couldn't be happier. I use it to journal and have a purple Pelikan ink in it. I like pretty, and it is.

I use fountain pens for daily writing and based on my experience, it may take at least 4 months of frequent use to make the nib smooth as I expected. By and large, I am still quite satisfied with this one since the design is really special given the price
