This nibbler replaces a very old one that had seen better days. It comes with two blades for different thicknesses of sheet metal. You screw the handle over one and use the other. It fits on any standard drill. It has a hex head, so you can use a hex chuck as well.I use this over a set of tin snips because I can never do a straight line to save myself. With the nibbler, I can start and the edge and do a quick straight line cut. It's also really easy to cut vent pipe. I've also used it to trim vent pipe in place, but it gets hard if the vent is close to a wall or in a truss space. You'll get about 80% with the nibbler and you'll need to finish with snips.Anyway it comes with spare nibblers (blades?), a step drill bit, spare blades, nibbler head and cutting guides (you can do circular cuts as well!!)

this thing is hungry for plenums and so when i need a star collar put into my ducting i release the rexbeti to feed!legit tho, its much lighter than my 120v ac sheet metal cutters, and i dont need a plug and extention cord furthering the weight removed from my kit, it can make way tighter radius cuts than a tin snip or the electric cutter, its faster than both, and its a pleasure to use where as those other options are to me very unpleasant, often dangerous. no more wrestling with razor edged sheetmetal. great cost feels really well made. little crescent shaped metal pieces fall out of it, so watch for that, but its not as messy as the chips a drill would make and a magnet can easily remove them from your ducting or equipment. try these puppies

I am using this tool to cut shapes out of 20 gauge sheet metal. It has its limitations, but does a great job at "freehanding" shapes, curves and angles. It does very little to distort the metal at the cut, nothing that a little grinding and filing won't fix. The width of the cut (kerf?) is around 1/8"-1/4", but if you plan your cut around this, it's not an issue. Have not tried a straight line cut, but if you fashion a fence for it, I believe it would do that as well. I have not attempted any cutting on heavier gauge metal, but it does 20 to 24 gauge effortlessly. Way better than tin snips or any other handheld nibbler. Learning curve is simple, just use a good drill that will do the stated RPM's and you are off and running.

least expensive way to get into using a nibbler. I looked at one even that makita makes that costs around 5-600 dollars and will do 10 gauge and others but the idea of a dedicated power source kind of puts the nibbler out of the budget of a lot of people. I was look at the ones like this that use your own drill to power it and it came back to replacement parts. This kit actually gives you three head and the nibbling shafts as well. It worked like a charm. I need to cut into the bed of my 1973 ford truck and it just ate that truck bed up. Very nice cutting edges as well. I see lots of applications for this and only 40 bucks cant beat that.

I bought this nibbler to do some auto body work, and had low expectations for a tool this inexpensive. I tell you what though, this nibbler impressed me. It cuts sheet metal quick and easy, while leaving a smooth edge. No extra grinding required because the nibbler doesn't leave burrs. It also allows for smooth direction changes in your cut. I was able to lay a paper template over my workpiece and just use the nibller to follow the pattern with no problems. It comes with 3 heads, a replacement blade, and even a nice metal box to hold everything. Considering this costs even less than a hand nibbler, you can't go wrong. I'm still on my first blade and even if this thing breaks now, I've gotten my money's worth and would buy another one.The one thing you have to look out for are the slivers of metal that are created when you cut. They get everywhere. Lay something down under your workpiece to catch them and have your shop vac handy.

I had to cut 2 ft X 2 ft window openings in several steel doors, and decided to try one of these rather than fighting it with a saber saw. I expected the foam core to present problems, but after quickly cutting through 48 feet of steel in the doors it was still cutting great. Because of the complaints many have had about the sharp little shavings produced by the tool, I used a shop vac to collect them as I cut. I got my money's worth just on this project, and it's still performing like new, so I am delighted with the purchase and looking for other things to use it on. Quieter than a saber saw and no bent, broken, or worn out blades. Definitely recommend this if you have sheet metal work which doesn't lend itself to the tools you already have in hand.

I used this to cut circles in metal roofing for the vent pipes. It did a real good job. Just measure and scribe the circle, pop a starter hole with a drill bit and it took a few seconds with this tool on a cordless drill and it was done. Easiest holes I ever cut! Note: it would be slow cutting on a long cut with a drill like I used. The seller recommends 3000rpm and my cordless was only 1800rpm. With 3000rpm it will probably cut pretty darn fast. I will try that in the future. At the price point of this(16.00) I have to give it 5 stars. Only time will tell as to durability.

I was skeptical about how well this item was going to work based on what similar models were being sold for on other sites. This is simply a case where "you get what you pay for" is dead wrong.I was absolutely speechless by how easily this tool literally ate it's way through the steel plate I had been grinding away at two days before with the ever trusty 4 1/2 inch grinder with a cut wheel in order to create the design drawn onto the surface. There is a slight learning curve as to which way the tool needs to face in order to fulfill the needs but after about two or three minutes I was happily and quickly on my way.If I had any concerns it is that this thing produces a LOT of curled steel bits that fall away and the cut path is approx 1/8 or 3/16 of an inch wide.Well worth the money spent and at this price you could almost get three for what others are selling one for. AND..you have an extra bit for when the first one ever goes dull. (remember to always use lubricating oil)

Damn good tool. I have a $300 Makita electric nibbler and a Chicago pneumatic air nibbler. Their dies and punches don’t last long as one side of this one. They also cost as much as two of these! ( the dies and punches). You get two sides, ability to cut tighter radius’s longer wear, twice the value and better performance! Metal artist for 6 years, working 20 ga sheet metal. All of them that look like this are the same and imported, take your pick! Probably all made in the same factory! Two thumbs up! My plasma torch is lonesome now!
