   I originally bought the unit at Harbor Freight thinking they were all the same. I was very disappointed with the Harbor Freight unit and after reading reviews I purchase this one. I have been very pleased with this and use it to cut openings in the side of computer cases. It works excellent. I was not sure what I should expect with my previous purchase from Harbor Freight being so poor. I initially had this set up in a vise as most video show decided I would like to mount it permanently to a dedicated drill and mounted in a board with an adjustable fence. Pictures show what I ended up with. I have been very pleased with it. The fence can be removad so I can work freely or if I would like to have straight Square edges I use the fence. A high speed drill is definatley needed. Mine uses 2500rpm and seems to work just fine.

   This thing works better than expected. I was surprised how easily it munches through 16 ga sheet steel. I declined buying the stand for it, and made my own out of plywood scraps. It’s nice that there is an extra cutting punch included. That makes four cutting setups before you need spares. I probably will need them.It really works great with an old dewalt corded drill I had kicking around, but it also works ok with cordless drills at the high speed

Second, the edge guide is worth its weight in gold. Do not buy one of these without an edge guide!I can attest that this thing can cut holes in a computer case. More specifically, it can cut a big hole in a Dell PowerEdge R720 server case! I used a top-of-the-line DeWalt cordless drill with 3 gears and powered by a 60V Flex battery. I started in first gear and it worked OK, but was kind of slow. So I kicked it up to second gear and it started chomping through that steel like a hot knife through butter. I never got up the nerve to try 3rd gear...

   I use this tool for cutting circles out of sheet metal and it works quite well. For those of us without bandsaws, this is the next best choice: quick to setup the cut and works surprisingly well, keeping the stock good and flat with no lifted edges. The cut itself is also pretty clean, needing minimal deburring/filing. Also quite good for free-form cutting, particularly with tight radii which can be difficult to do with most shears (at least if you want to keep the edges good and flat and not twisted/bent up a bit). I don't use this tool for straight cuts; would seem to be awkward to provide a guide/fence for owing to the tools geometry.Given the relatively low cost of the tool, it was a bit of a no-brainer for me to purchase.

   I had initially used a cut off wheel instead, which works .. except being my first attempt at auto-body repair I over cut (and not I get to replace my brake lines). This embarrassment aside, I decided to purchase this product as it was recommended by ChrisFix's on YouTube (How to PROPERLY Repair a Rust Hole in Your Car or Truck).This product works great! Because the depth of its "nibble" is fixed, I didn't have issues cutting thru anything other that my floor pan. It is easy to use and I was able to cut a straight line fairly easily (and curves are even simpler).Overall I wish I would have purchased this initially instead of trying to freehand a cutoff wheel.

   Needed to replace bake element on my electric range, manufacturer provided no access to bake element . An outline for 'access' to element was 'engraved' into rear maintenance panel, required cutting. Tried hand held sheet metal cutter and found effort too exerting; Produced very rough, uneven edges. Looked up a solution on Amazon and came across the 'nibbler' product. Nibbler cut through the sheet metal with ease, especially along straight lines. Only difficulty came where cut line met with edge of oven, could not reach last half-inch of cut line due to width of cutting head. Completed above using the pilot hole drill attachment. I recommend a high-power drill for use with this product, used my plug-in hammer drill.

   This thing is the real mccoy, wherever that quote comes from, this thing is right there. Smooth as butter and can turn fairly easily. Just need to keep the metal is the hole punch zone, which sometimes requires space around the cutting area to make the appropriate turn. I suppose you could just go the other direction and make it work in a tighter space, or maybe flip the bit if it's on the opposite side, I didn't check that though, but I cut an access hole to my gas tank and it saved me probably 6 hours of potentially catastrophic failure dropping the tank (or more professional results), but I took the hack job and this tool made it less hacky and more exactly.

   This product worked as advertised. Needed to cut some round holes in sheet metal ductwork. It's a little awkward with the drill attached but made mincemeat out of the metal and the holes were perfect.Beware of the metal shavings. I still have them in my shoe soles after 2 weeks. They are small and sharp.I've cut about 20 holes 8" diameter and still on the same blade.Way better than buying a 2-300.00 unit for the amount I would use it.
