I bought this thing for a special event I booked where I agreed to make 600 donuts on site. I pounded over 40L of donut batter through this thing in a matter of hours and it did not let me down. I will say it is smaller than you'd think and is a bit had to fill, but other than it is very well built. Solid stainless, the spring has enough tension to hold the batter without leaking, while still enough give to not kill my hand after hours and hours of using. I put this little donut hopper through the ringer and it came out the other side unscathed. Would buy again.

Overall, I think this tool is more trouble than it is worth. The hopper that holds the batter is quite small and if you use it for pancakes you will have to constantly refill it. This doesn・・t seem worth the trouble considering the cleanup. It did produce doughnut like shapes, but they were not uniform.
