Keeps the chin in an upward position so may be done getting used to. Nice wide stretchy neoprene type material on the belly. Haven't done a floaty test yet.

This life jacket for dogs is wonderful! It doesnt interfear with his ability to swim, keeps him afloat, and the extra pad under his head is really great. Yes my dog knows how to swim, but he's been known to jump overboard at high speed while the boat is going, and the potential to get hurt is high. Its good to know this will keep him afloat, and the pad under his head will keep his head above water in the wvent hes hurt and can't swim. It provides me the chance to get turned around and back to pick him up, without worrying he'll drown. Can't recommend highly enough. And lets remind the humans in the boat to wear theirs as well.

This floatation vest helps her stay afloat and in the water for longer periods of time. Our lab was between a L and XL. We bought the XL but it was way too big. Very easy process returning the XL to Kohl’s. Purchased a large and it’s almost too small but the vests should be more on the tight side than loose side and she loves being able to stay in the water longer. The handle on the top lets us grab her when the ducks taunt her and she goes after them. Glad we made this purchase.
