My 17.6 lbs Cojack fit perfectly in the xs harness. I think it looks super cute and she seems very comfortable in it. I’m planning to use this back clip harness only for car rides and during our long leash training sessions. For our regular walks, I use an easy walk harness (because of the science behind how a front clip harness works). Haven’t used the seat belt yet but it looks neat and sturdy and guessing it will work great. Will update my review if I note any problems with it.
The harness seems perfect to use with a long leash since it clips at the back. I read that using a collar or a regular front clip harness on a long line is not a great idea. Please read further about this concept and spread the word about safety for our pups.

I have bought a few of these for my growing pup. I got one when he was smaller and it came with the seatbelt (the red vest) . Then he grew out of it and I got a bigger one (the black one) that came with another seatbelt that is actually a bit longer than the smaller one which I thought was awesome that the seatbelt grew with him too!! I wanted to get him a harness for safety which driving (he LOVES car rides but always wants to be halfway out the window so we had to strap him in lol) but I didn’t want to spend a fortune on one that I know he will grow out of (he’s an 11 month old, 95 pound American Akita and still has 40 pounds to go before he’s his parents weight) and this is absolutely perfect!! Also I don’t like to pull on his neck when we’re out in public and this get rid of that! I can control him better and it seems comfortable to him and that’s what every dog mom wants!

I haven’t used the tether with the buckle, although I have tried it in my car and truck and it works, because I prefer the SlowTon seatbelt that loops around the headrest. My dog Is that dog who bolts right out of the car as soon as you open the door. This harness with the tether keeps her safe and in her seat. My opinion is that SlowTon should offer the option of the harness with the headrest tether. I ended up having to spend a few extra dollars to buy a double pack of the headrest tethers separate. Overall, this is a great harness and for the first time I actually enjoy taking my dog in the car.

Locked nicely into the seatbelt with no issues. It’s adjustable straps were easy enough to size it to fit and the mesh chest was comfy. They didn’t fuss having it on.
We use a different type of harness for walking and this was super easy to put on and take off for us to switch out in the car.

Love this harness! The design with the two snaps on the back makes it extremely easy to put on and take off. So far it seems durable and high quality. I bought it because of the price point, he's a puppy and I knew he'd grow out of it eventually and didn't want to buy an expensive one just to replace it in a month.
I do wish I got one size smaller, its true to the size chart but I went based on his chest size and it's pretty loose around the neck and the mesh chest piece is a little long for his torso.
I'll definitely re-purchase when he needs a bigger one.
