Product Instructions :

Preparation: Clean damaged alloy wheel with alcohol pad and remove rough and uneven edges around damaged area. Confirm repair area. If it is slightly damaged, use wet sandpaper to match the contours to the repair surface, and silver alloy lacquer repair area.
If the lesion is large or has teeth. Then use the repair adhesive: press the required repair adhesive onto the carpet. Mix the 2 components to a gray constant mass using the spatula provided. (Complete the mixture within 2-4 minutes).

Repair: Pour spilled adhesive over damaged area. let it dry for 15 minutes.
Contour Adjustment: Use wet sandpaper to match contours to the repaired surface. If necessary, repeat steps 3 and 4.
Gloss: Clean the repair area and apply a thin layer of lacquer with a brush. The time to lacquer is at least 12 hours before using the car, and the complete treatment will take 3 days.

I have used this kit to fix a deep scratch and some minor scuffs on 3 wheels of a VW Golf and Mini, the color matching is excellent and the repair is barely detectable. Technique is important. If you prepare the area and sand carefully, you will be very pleased with the results. I had to sand and repaint an area on one wheel because I had paint drips, but it was fine. I've read that the paint is actually two shades of silver. Shake for at least 1 minute before spraying. I'm not sure how the other wheel colors fit together, but it's perfect for VW and Mini. Note that I only repainted the spot, not the entire wheel, polishing a bit after the paint is completely dry will not be able to detect the blended area.

With a little patience and preparation time, you can fix a cracked rim on your curb. About half way through, I felt a little flooded, but patiently continued sanding until smooth. When you apply the paint, apply the coat very lightly. I had to do like 5 coats of light paint with 8 minutes between each coat. The perfect kit if you're looking to remove unsightly curb damage from your everyday vehicle. It's not perfect, but it's close to perfect. If you have a brand new Autobahn engine car, id recommend just getting it done professionally. On the other hand, if your daily-drive Mini or Bimmer has a bit of a constriction on factory wheels, that's for sure.
