   My baby doesn't sleep in the bassinet and sleeps with us in our bed. It becomes easier to get up and feed him at night so I went ahead and purchased this as his bed. I love that the borders around help me be extra cautious about the baby's presence just by our side and I also don't have to get up too much and put in lot of efforts at night. Though I did feel that it is not as sturdy as it could have been.

   So far, we love it. I was able to wash the whole thing, no problems. I do wish there was a little layer of padding on the underneath and my suggestion would be to add handles near the head and feet ends with a botton clasp for closing. The handle that is on it now isnt that useful in my opinion.

   We have been using this since our baby was 5 months (now 9 months) and she loves it. Its quite a simple product but it helped transition our baby from the bassinet and swaddle and into her crib. We took a weekend trip without it and our daughter definitely missed it. We are heading overseas shortly and will definitely be packing this. Its easy to clean, it is neutrally colored so it matches her room just fine and it is a good size and I expect we can use it for another 6 months.

   My baby loves sleeping in her little nest. I would not use it for a child that can’t get up and down on their own, it seems like a very unsafe place to sleep for a small infant that isn’t very mobile. But for a bigger baby that can move freely and likes to be cuddled it is wonderful.
