   Yet another master-piece (see images) from a talented Construction Technician ;) ... This product completely transforms a boring wall and makes it a focal point. I get nothing but accolades with yet another successful installation of Carl's ART3D products. I purchased 5 boxes, which equate to 30 tiles that is normally needed to cover the SF plus adjustments for waste. However, I have gotten so much better at doing this that I could near-perfectly cut-out manually by hand, individual tiles/rows if needed, and not necessarily have to waste an entire full tile just for cut-out areas. As such, I was able to use only 4 boxes exactly with lots of good scraps left-over, and I still have an extra unopened box of 6 tiles as extras. I may return this, but I might just keep it just in-case I need to replace a tile or two in the future and they stop making these... I'd include images of the master-piece(s) soon...

   I was looking for a temporary option for my backsplash until I am ready to get solid surface counters. These self stick tiles fit the bill perfectly. They look like glass tiles, even some visitors to our home could not believe they were not glass tiles, until she touched them. My husband installed them in 2 evenings. The pictures show that he had a corner to do as well as around a window on both sides and cut outs for receptacles and switches. We are very please with the result. We used 3 whole boxes and 1 tile from a fourth box, for a total of 19 tiles, to complete the project. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an inexpensive and beautiful way to update a kitchen.

   Love it, makes the area look finished. I used the 3m adhesive spray as recommended. I started from right and worked my way left, so that the tiles shadow faces the underside. It took me 3 boxes. 2 boxes to do the wall, 1 1/2 sheets to finish the wall, and then the rest of the sheets to finish the stove area and add two more skinny rows so that the “tiles” almost some to the bottom of the cabinets. The first picture can give you a size reference. The second picture shows the seam since they are meant to overlap during application, the third shows how the seam looks from a distance. After applying, I used a towel to apply pressure back and forth along to the tiles to make there are no air bubbles and lifting and then took of the clear protective sheet. Before any of this I used a medium grit sand block to smooth out any bumps from painting and then a fine grit sand block to make it smooth. Then cleaned with a good multi purpose cleaner and a cotton cleaning cloth a let dry for an hour.

I would suggest using a piece of paper up to your corner that needs to be cut. set it along the counter so it is straight , then push the paper into the corner creasing the paper where you will need to mark and cute your first piece where you will be cutting it so that it will fit against the corner of your wall and then be square everywhere else. This way the rest of your pieces will fit perfectly. got to get that first piece sqaure!!!

What I would have done differently would have been to start at the edge of the doorway so I would have had the nice easy straight edge there instead of in the corner, putting a clear plastic protector on the doorway edge was a must and looks nice too.
   My daughter mentioned it would be a good option for rental properties. And that you are committed to it like you would be ceramic tile.
   I am a little curious as to why it has a bit of a feel when you rub your hands across it.

   i like the fact that is was pretty easy to use . you really got to think out the layout of these before you start. they stick real nice on new drywall (some painted, some not ) been almost a year now and there still stuck. i have a couple places where there trying to unstuck at corners , but i think that area was not cleaned well before i stuck them.. surfaces MUST be clean ( ie no oils , no dust CLEAN ) so far im happy with them and best part is in the future when the wife say i need to change out the back slash for different colors its easy peel off and get new stuff........ so far so good

The touch is like rubber and visually gives the feeling of real tile. In the area of the Valance the old one was the marron and it was quite embossed and still stuck very well. I recommend it to both the seller and the product.
