   The tiles were easy to install if you follow the simple directions. Adhesion is good on smooth walls but use spray adhesive on textured ones. Also, my mistakes, all related to inaccurate measuring, were nicely corrected with scrap pieces. Bottom line this is a good affordable DIY option.

   Two tips for you: buy an extra pack, and take extra precaution place the first one well. These tiles come with a column of 'tiles' along the one side for you to use to overlay the next tile, and I'm not sure if this false set of tiles is included in the measurements, leaving me about two tiles short. That said, it was easily cut with my crafting paper cutter which meant a nice straight edge, even though very few areas of my 100 year old kitchen are straight. Some of the tiles are very obvious as a result of the slightly wider grout line on the edge, but I still love the final outcome and it's a million steps above what we removed. It came out great and I would definitely recommend and buy this again.

It is important to clean the surface you are working with. Other than that you need a sharp box knife, ruler and a level. That's it. Very happy with the improvement.

   Overall I’m happy with this product. Installation was easy since these “tiles” are so easy to cut (I used kitchen scissors). The only down fall is that the seams are thick and pretty noticeable, but for the price of these I can easily look past that!
