The first time I used it, I did my entire lawn, all my sidewalks and patio with the edger; it was still running. Took it up into my vegetable garden. Cleaned up all the walkways; it just would not run out of battery. It does not feel heavy duty; a lot of plastic parts. But seems to handle my residential needs. Love this edger/trimmer!
