Very good trimmer, well built and well designed. When fully retracted and without battery, it can stand on its own at the right angle. Works well in both vertical and horizontal positions. This can also make some wasps really really really really really really really really angry.
Do not use this on a wasp nest.
Here is a tip: soak your string in water for about 30 minutes before you use the trimmer. Nylon absorbs water and becomes more elastic. This will decrease breakage and extend the life of the reel.

I use this for weed eating and edging and it does a great job. As an edger it gives a nice clean cut compared to other brands of weed eaters I've owned/used. I like that it is super light weight and really easy to convert back and forth from weed eater to edger. The spools are smaller than I am used to but they seem to last as long.
I would say my only negative comment would be that it takes a really long time to recharge the batteries. Thankfully they give you two, you just have to put it straight on the charger if you have a good sized yard or are planning to do your front and back yard. All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and will probably just purchase another spare battery. In fact I am planning on looking into buying more of this brand and I like that the batteries are interchangeable!
