I chose this one because I am getting older and I think the lever (up and down) motion was the best for me. I was right. What a joy to pump out these cookies and they are fun to decorate. I also bought one for my granddaughter who loves to bake. She was delightfully surprised and is enjoying it as much as I am. Great purchase.

At Christmas my family loves making (and eating) almond spritz cookies so that is primarily what we use it for. It was very easy to use and made the cookies with great detail, something my other presses lacked. It dispenses just the right amount of dough for a perfectly shaped cookie every time. Also very durable and easy to clean. I love the little container it comes with to organize the different cookie templates - no more keeping the box forever or digging around in the drawer. Two thumbs up!!

It included very yummy recipes. I used the gingerbread shortbread. I found that when my dough had been re-created a number of times it became as expected, super soft. So I used one of the molds and shot out a long continuous ribbon onto the cookie sheet and cut to desired amount. These cookies at the end were crunchy outside and soft inside. Easy gun. Tasty cookies.

The cookies are very pretty, the designs are distinct. I probably will only use this at holidays, but it might tempt me to go beyond! I used one of the recipes in the booklet...very buttery, not too sweet..just right. ( I used all vanilla,no almond flavoring, but that is personal preference.)
