   We've been looking for a pet screen door for a while and chose this one based on the reviews. We are very pleased with it! The screws and nuts are very small, easier to have two people to get those on. For stability, we followed the advice of another reviewer, installing towards the side rather the middle of the door.

   The main photo is of a golden retriever and I have a golden retriever. He is too big for this door. Having said that the measurements of the door are clearly advertised, so I guess it’s on me. Just don’t start feeling hopeful that because there’s a large dog pictured, your large dog will fit. My 54 pound husky uses it just fine because he’s smart and he steps through it slowly. But my 75 lb Golden is either stuck inside or barrel through taking the whole door with him.

   I'm happy with this door. My dog and cat both like to use it. It does make it more challenging to open the screen door all the way, but I find that doesn't make a big difference to us.
   It was easy enough to install. We used an extra durable pet screen for the mesh, so it was harder to feed the screws through that. The door swings open and close nicely, with a magnetic close on the bottom to ensure it is in the closed position after the pet goes through.
   I'm happy with this purchase, I would just recommend future purchasers make sure to insert the pet door as close to the corner so you can open the screen door as wide as possible. It will open all the way, but it hits the glass door when it gets to the middle.

   Installed very easy per instructions. Maybe 10 minutes. Priced right for what it is. I have a 4 month old 37 lb Lab . Going to be a big one when he grows up. I installed this so he could get to our deck. Door works as planned and holding up so far. He likes to play/chew on the door. We'll see how it holds up long term or if it is big enough when he gets a bit bigger, but so far so good. Screen around it is staying intact.

   Highly recommend this product. We have a 70 lb Weimaraner who stands 27” tall. We needed a big door with sturdy support. I bought the largest door. It took me two screens to get it right. First, buy “pet screen” (mistake #2). It’s sturdier than regular bug screen and holds the dog door in place. Second, pull the screen as tight as it will go. Once you have three sides in place pull the screen tight as you install the last side. I also went back to each side and maneuvered an additional tug. I did not trim the sides of the screen until we “lived” with the door for a few days to make sure slack didn’t develop. Third, install the door at the right height for your dog (mistake #1). Teaching point: Don’t cut out the inside dog door screen until you put up the door and confirm placement is correct. Our pup wasn’t sure about the whole door flap at first, but he uses it regularly now. Great purchase, installation takes time and patience.

   This was such an awesome purchase for my family, as we were getting sick of leaving the slider screen open and letting all of the flies in. Our dog took about a day to learn how to go in and out of her new door, but once she did she was so happy to have that patio access 247. We wish we bought this sooner. It's super easy to install too, just make sure that you do it right because if you don't you'll just have a messed up screen door and that can be costly!
