I took one star off because there are only 7 tentacles, so not an 'octo', I felt the mantle was small for the proportions of the hat, not a problem, I crocheted a new one which also doubles as a pocket. It doesn't go with anything I own and if I did wear it, it just calls attention to myself. I eventually decided to pull the trigger and buy it. It's too cool and unique to pass up.
