I did take the advise of one reviewer and read the manual ( a very short read) and learned a few things to make it easier. We used coconut oil instead of vegetable oil and the taste was great. The only downside was the hum of the machine. We sat near the machine on the coffee table while watching a movie and I couldn't hear the movie well.....it wasn't an unreasonable noise level...but... Would love to have one for myself...but can't justify it while still trying to loose weight! lol

Finally used this fountain and it was really easy to assemble and use! I followed the instructions and read some helpful reviews that mentioned keeping the fountain level for even flow. I bought the dark belgian chocolate by Sephra and it was delicious and smooth (needed a bit more than one bag for the fountain to flow without too many gaps). This brand of chocolate did not require oil to melt smoothly. The machine did not seem very noisy at all! The chocolate flowed nicely and stayed warm and smooth the entire time! Made my boys birthday breakfast fun!! Lots of left over chocolate that I made into choc covered fruit and tried to keep the rest to melt another time (not sure it will work!)
