I did have some trouble with the first unit, so I started a process for an exchange and was contacted the the manufacturer, and they made a design changed based my issue, and sent me a replacement. So when you purchase one of these, if the digits do some funky things, know that the replacement is fixed, and the unit works as described without issue.
