I did have some trouble with the first unit, so I started a process for an exchange and was contacted the the manufacturer, and they made a design changed based my issue, and sent me a replacement. So when you purchase one of these, if the digits do some funky things, know that the replacement is fixed, and the unit works as described without issue.

It should automatically acquire a satellite signal and then you’re ready to roll. A lot of people in my neighborhood have golf carts and I think this would be pretty cool to have on one of those too. Would probably even work on boats and off road vehicles. It has a few settings to change the secondary view from clock to altitude to distance/time traveled which is also pretty cool. Overall happy with this product
