It doesn't visually peel it off like in the commercial, but it really did smooth down the callouses. I then used the finishing pad. Your feet aren't going to be soft like a baby's feet, but it's comparable to salon pedi's where they razor your heels. And that was REALLY gross feet. Your feet are probably less calloused than mine were. I decided that I wanted continually presentable feet, so I started using it every day (less than 2 minutes on each foot), and the results have kept.
I keep reading people saying that it stops spinning for a second when they apply pressure--that's the safety feature. After using the wand and the ped egg, you're used to grinding really hard on your feet and you instinctively apply that same pressure here. The pedi-spin stops when you apply too much pressure, so use a light touch. It's an electric sander--you don't want to hurt yourself.
So far I'm very happy with it. It took my feet from ragged, cracked, and rough to smooth and presentable

The easiest way to remove heavy duty calluses on your feet. I did not want to do a video of my ugly feet so I will just explain that I have reoccurring calluses bother me and have used a Pedi egg for about three years now. This is my second one and it is the only way to go for a moving sick bothersome calluses and smoothing the heels of your feet. Highly recommend it.

This machine not only smoothed away the calluses I used it on but also smoothed down my big toenail where it had been cut to a bit of a point! I used this on as soon as I received it, it did take time due to the condition of my feet but the end result was like baby skin. I really think it does a better job than when I have a professional pedicure done. It is very easy to use and yes you do need to follow the directions on holding it in the area for a few seconds. It has a usb cord and charges very fast, the two speeds are great also it has great sanding power. I highly recommend it and have told friends and family about it.
