I kept it in my bathroom for about a month, then the white started turning brown from people walking on it with shoes. A word to the wise if your going to buy it for a party buy it about a month before you want to use it because it does come rolled up. I had to roll it backwards and wrap rubber bands around it to get it to flatten out.

I had to lay it out under something heavy for a few days so that it would lay flat. But it does change to red when water hits it and my kids and friends love the look of it. I am happy with it, just wish it was more like a bathmat and less like a weird mat that changed colors.

Its a little thinner than I thought it would be but it still feels soft under my feet. It also helps to see where the extra water drips are to clean up, by following the little "blood" trail.
