Came across Chess House on Google, and was disappointed that they didn't have the piece I needed currently in stock. I left my info anyway, and got an "in stock" email within a few days.    Purchased a glass frosted replacement pawn. It came in about one week from order date. All good in terms of customer service. Pawn is a perfect match in terms of size and shape but unexpectedly it is a darker color than what is depicted on the website. See picture. I subsequently realized that the replacement has a black bottom pad instead of white like the others. I removed the black pad and made a white pad to get the color to basically match.

   This was literally the only place I could find where I could get individual glass chess pieces.
   I ordered 4 rooks to go with a set I acquired that was missing 1 (unfortunate). They are larger than the rest of the pieces but I knew that when purchasing, its better than an incomplete set right?
   I also ordered new felt pads for the remaining pieces as they had all fallen off and it made a terrible sound on the glass board. They went on great with some super glue. I had to get a little creative to get them to fit exactly as I wanted but I'm satisfied with how they fit and it wasn't too much effort. Now, it will just be to see if they last!
   The pieces were packaged really well and everything was shipped quickly!

   The product i received is of good quality for the price i paid. The chess board glass is of good quality along with the pieces. The only thing i would suggest is to provide instructions for the cushion piece inside the box. It took me a little while to figure out where they need to go (on the chess board not under the pieces). I would definitely recommend this.

Glass is smooth to touch and has felt bottom to not scratch the mirror-like board. You can use the box for travel as its well packed. I like that its glass so the kids won't fight over it saying its too girly or boyish.

   Good quality piece. Comes with felt on bottom which I love. Great customer service. Personal response on email inquiry. Updates on order vie email through the delivery process (as expected these days).
   I am not a chess aficionado but I am a little disappointed in the measurements. The Knight height claims to be 2" but the one I received is more like 1 3/4". I attached a photo and you can see the frosted one that was purchased on the left is just a bit shorter than 2"
   I didn't spend my life savings on it, but would expect it to be a little more accurate given the state of our technological advancements
