   This quickly became my favorite reel. It's by far the smoothest reel I own even when compared to other (more expensive) Kastking models. Not sure what's different about it but I wish every reel felt this nice. It casts really well and while I keep the mag brakes down fairly low, they seem to do their job. I mainly got this reel because of the crank grips which are fantastic. I have the same grips on a speed demon pro spinning reel and liked them so much I needed them on a baitcaster as well. For the price, I can't imagine getting a better reel.

I love how it feels in my hand it is super lightweight and i love how it looks blue is my favorite color by the way. Im. Excited to get out in the water and try it out. It comes with a warranty, properly packaged well and a book to show you how to properly spool the reel for beginners like me.

   I used this for the first time today for about 4 hours and I absolutely love it. It dials in incredibly easy and casts like a dream. I probably made 200 casts with it and it only nested once, which was my fault because a boat was about to pass in front of me so I had to mash my thumb to stop it, other than that this reel performed flawlessly. I’ve tried a couple other reels lately and have decided to just stick with all Kastking gear from now on. They just work. Their prices are always within the budget my wife gives me (haha) and their customer service is top notch. After the headaches my last reel gave me this one was a dream.

You've just got to know how to fine tune the brakes and you're golden! On top of that, the main selling point for me was the non-slip grips which are so damn comfortable, very comfortable. Over all from the grips to the sexy paint job, this reel works like a dream for the price. You cant beat it! On the first day using it i got at least 5 compliments about the color and how smooth it is to cast and retrieve.

I have already used it once on a fishing trip and it had no problem catching fish. It also was very hard to backlash and I could cast without my thumb even. Overall, it's such a good real for the money.

I’m not that smart and didn’t dial it in before use and I gotta birds nest, once I did dial it in it worked perfectly and smoothly. In my opinion this is the best reel for beginners.
