I felt the strength was better than the K-Cup we had before and it also brewed faster. I'm still trying out the Nespresso but it makes a great cup of coffee with a great crema.

Other brands don't have this feature and really just make very strong coffee. I can't speak to the durability of this unit as I only received it as a Christmas gift. But so far I love it.
