We have a streetlight in front of our house so Christmas lights don't always show up very well. We had a projector before that you could barely see - but this one is nice and bright and easy to see on the White part of my house. It's a little tougher to see on the brick but good enough for my purposes. The cord is pretty long as well which gave us more flexibility in where to put it. I like how the snowflakes bounce around. We also tried it out inside when we first got it and it looks pretty cool for an indoor event also (if you have dim lights). Overall I would recommend giving this a try.

So this Christmas projector light has some pros and cons. Pros are: These lights are fast and easy to decorate with, this can be used with the stand that can be mounted or a stake in the ground, the lights are bright and project well.
Cons: the whole thing is super lightweight and the cable is super thin and not very long, there is no on and off you just have to plug and unplug or put it in a timer which together can be rather bulky and leaving your outdoor outlet exposed to the elements if it's a covered box, it's not easily adjustable w/o loosening the bolt which is ok because it does hold it in place once you get it there but even the slightest adjustments require you to loosen the bolt.

I got this because I want to project the image on some large trees outside. While it does have a nice range and projects the image out about 35 feet, I did expect the image outside to be a little sharper.
It does look nice and I like the flowing motion on the trees of the snowflake image but the projection is not very clear past 15 feet.
I will end up using this inside the house where the projected image looks crisp and clear.
I like that it is small enough and the image can be set at different angles.
I like the snowflake images as it moves around but during certain times when the snowflakes group together, it is really hard to depict the image.
It really needs to be projected onto a flat surface to get the full effect and the clear image.

Otherwise, you’re going to get a snowflake rectangle every few seconds. It’s not THAT bad, but it’s noticeable if you’re paying attention for more than a minute. It’s a super easy set up too, just connect the plug and voila. Comes with a stand and a stake to keep it in place in your yard.

This one? So much better! I planted the light about 20 feet into the yard and the attached video and photo are the result of that. Plus the snowflakes gently glide across the home.
It comes with two mounting methods. A stake for the yard and a stand that you can screw or stake down. The head is also adjustable, so you can position it exactly how you like. Well designed and thoughtfully executed. I’ll probably get a second one for the home. Fully recommend!

Only one movement setting and color, and i don't think there's a way to turn it off unless it gets unplugged or maybe if you have a smart plug you can control it that way... It didn't project a huge spot on the wall, so i'm guessing you'd have to back up more to make it cover more area, like the front of your house from the lawn or something. It was neat, got a little hot after a few minutes. If you have a big space/house i'd say get a cpl of these.
