Lamp is just what I was expecting. Instructions was quick and easy. Be careful and use distilled water and add just the right amount of liquid dishwasher detergent soap. I accidently added a little too much of soap and in my tank it look like it was cloudy but it was just the soap mixed in with the water, it isn't too distracting but still noticeable when the lamp was on. I was concerned when first putting the jellyfish in the tank that the jellyfish would stay to the top of the tank but after ten minutes the jellyfish were moving everywhere in the tank. I used a chopstick to push the jellyfish down far into the tank so be sure to use something similar instead of using your hand, it's much easier. It's very cool and it looks just like real jellyfish. The only downside to this lamp is that it's a little pricey but still happy with my purchase. Would buy it again.

Used a few more drops of dish soap, based on others reviews. Made sure to place the jelly fish upside down and prod with a straw to avoid bubbles. I adore this!! No idea how it works . Hope the video works ok on here!

These are like watching live jelly fish swimming. And then the awesome lighting cycle it goes through is just another great addition to this product. There are only 2 jellyfish in the container, but the way it is made when it is on, the reflection makes it look like there are 4. The only con I would say is that, just like lava lamps, the base and top are in that stark black heavy plastic, just like a lot of the lava lamps , which doesnâ€™t always look as maybe as attractive as youâ€™d want depending on what rooms youâ€™d may want to have it in to fit in with the decor. The bottom line is that whoever created this is a genius. Would buy other things from this seller!

Easy to set up...I took one reviewers advice and got the jellyfish wet before putting them in the water to avoid bubbles and I got none. It makes no noise at ALL and is amazingly silent. It really adds great ambiance to our family room. My only complaint, and this is on amazon NOT the manufacturer, is that when it was shipped to us they literally slapped a label on the box and sent it. Didn't pack it, didn't even tape it up! Just sent it. Lucky for us it arrived in one piece and with everything still in the box. Come on amazon, this thing wasn't cheap, clean it up!
