   I needed to cut some glass tile and thought I would give this a try. I like to review based price versus performance and on that basis, it's hard to beat. I did find that it took a bit of experimentation to get a clean brake on glass tile. The tile was reasonably thick and the first several tries did not give a clean break. I then scored both sides of the tile several times (a small framing square is a big help for this), inserted the tile in the press, slowly tightened it, and then got a nice clean break. I have not tried it on plain glass, but based on cutting tile, it would probably work even better on regular glass. Make no mistake, this is not a tool for "production", but to cut an occasional piece of glass or a few tiles, it does the job. A plus is that it comes with decent storage box, 2 additional cutting wheels, and a small screwdriver to change them out. Bottom line, just experiment with what you are cutting on some scrap to get a feel for the tool before you make your final cut, and go slow on the press to make the break.

   I've always been a terrible glass cutter. It never quite works right. I had a mirror I needed to cut and I had to get it right. This tool was amazing, just scored it once and then twisted the handle and got a perfect cut. I had to make two cuts, the second cut was a fairly thin cut and it worked flawlessly. I used and recommend using a glass cutting lubricant as it will stop the glass cut from welding back together.

   I have to redo a sink in a bathroom and tiles needed to be cut. I also have some glass panes from a very old window with louvered glass panes. I wanted to use those for some shelves.
   
   This manual cutter seemed to fit both needs. I checked the construction of the unit and it is solid. The thread works perfectly, the unit includes two additional cutting heads (nice!), 4 replacement bumpers (very nice!) and cheap gloves.
   
   You screw in the handle and use the cutter like a pencil, scoring few times the glass or the glazed tile.
   
   Then you can use the built-in press, or just pliers if one side if held firmly.
   
   I took a picture of my first attempt with the built-in press, but not enough scoring (it broke in an angle), and the second one, which worked correctly since I scored more and with a bit more force each score.
   
   It is accurate if used correctly, very easy to use, and given the extra and its versatility – a good value for money.

   AMAZING product for the price. No oil needed. Used it to cut ceramic tiles. I scored it exactly once, barely a complete line. Lined it up with the center of the tool and followed the instructions; worked very well. The ends were only slightly off, but that's not much of an issue with sand paper; I'm sure scoring it better makes a huge difference. Don't try to cut end pieces that are smaller than 2 or so inches, It only works if you can fit the piece and line it up with the tool.
